[ Terra had been late to the annoucement of the motive, but not too late to hear it. He had seen the red head's predicament as well. Though the incentive was troublesome in of itself, his mind was less on his possible troubles, if they can be called that at all.

[ He's a little surprised to say the least, but not necessarily unhappy. ]

[ Terra didn't plan this out as much as he thought he did... but he did want to help Shirou out. He had been looking out for so many people. Wait, maybe he had an idea. ]

Nothing much, I guess. I was just wondering if you don't mind joining me in the cafeteria for a little bit.

If we get that early we should beat everyone else to it.

I definitely don't mind.

[ Not in the slightest, in fact. It would be a good thing, he thinks, to talk to others. A distraction from what he actually sees. ]

[ He'll smile, glad the red head has no problems with it!

He'll lead him towards the cafeteria. ]

Do you have a favorite dish or anything, by the way?

[ He's kind of curious--the guy cooks but it's not like he has his favorites on his profile unlike someone. ]

Ah... not really? Although I'd rather not have any more mapo tofu.

[ That was definitely a mistake, in his eyes. Even if he got something out of it. ]

...What's mapo tofu?

[ Shirou ... naturally now he has to tell Terra the horrors. ]

[ After all of that, Terra barely is there at the afterparty. The cake's not even all that appealing...so much for a birthday, right?

It hurts...all of what happened did. Part of him wishes he'd look after Mitarai more, but thinking about it, he tried so hard. He talked to him so many times...so all he could be content with is that he tried his best.

He sighs, coming into the halls, until he found himself stopping in front of Tsukasa's door. He wondered, he didn't see the other there either. So he'll give the door rap to see if he's available. ]

You there?

[ The door does open just a crack when he hears the knock and sees Terra, smiling a little pitifully. ]

Hey, Terra. [ It's when he sees Terra that he finds himself opening the door a little more. ] Did you want to come in?

Hey.

[ ... ]

...Yeah, if you didn't mind.

[ Terra tries to smile himself, but it just...doesn't quite happen, so he just. Gives it up for now. It's been a rough night, for the lot of them. ]

[ The smile fades, knowing that he really shouldn't have to keep up appearances. He's really drained from that trial and frustrations can't help but bubble there, just a little before he sighs to let it out.

It's over, it's done. ]

I don't mind in the slightest bit. Come in, have a seat wherever.

[ No, he shouldn't, and Terra -- tired as it is himself from that as well -- would've mentioned as much himself. There's...already too much pressure on their shoulders as it is. ]

[ He moves to seat himself in the chair nearby the desk, but turns to face Tsukasa. ]

How's--how're you taking everything?

[ He closes the door once he's inside before taking a seat on the bed himself. ]

I'll be fine tomorrow. I just need some time to cool off and figure myself out for a bit. I really thought that I was going to lose myself in there...

[ Terra wasn't there like he was usually at his normal timing, but he was back here today, specially since there was some good food being prepared by Tsukasa. And who was he to skip out on it twice? ]

...Hey, Tsukasa. Making something good for everyone again?

[ He's smiling too, looks like he's in a good mood. ]

There aren't anymore pre-made meals this week, so I've taken it upon myself to do the cooking myself. It's not too difficult, although I do have to make sure to make something vegetarian for Monika.

That's fair. Wonder why they stopped preparing meals for us, though.

Did they decide that we weren't worth the effort anymore or something?

[ He asks good naturedly as he prepares to grab a plate. ]

I don't know. I mean... they probably know that I'm willing to cook for everyone, too, so that might be a factor.

How's everything been for you this week, by the way?

Good, I think? Well, I mean. As good as I can be in this place, anyway. Cooking is a good distraction, and I actually like doing it.

[ Sometime following the investigation, the brunet went to the red head's room and gave a gentle knock. In his hands was some food. ]

Tsukasa, are you around?

[ He opens the door a crack as he tries to smile a little bit, but it's a bit strained. ]

Yeah... I am. Did you want to come in?

Yeah, I did.

[ He'll wait patiently first for the other to move, though. ]

Brought something to eat too. We need to keep up our strength.

[ He opens the door all the way-- his room's pretty neat as always, all the stuff he's collected on the table. ]

Thanks. You didn't have to, though.

Of course I had to.

[ His voice ia not admonishing, though. Kind of gentle; they were both going through an extremely rough time right now.

Terra placed the food on the desk onxe he came in. ]

Honestly?

[ Tsukasa shakes his head as he lets him in before flopping onto the bed, staring at the ceiling. ]

I don't know. I've never... felt like this before.
